BIC XTRA-Fun #2 pencil review

07/28/2015 is when i finally got my bzzkit in the mail.
As always i was very excited to finally be able to get a bzzkit in the mail.
Its been a long time since i have had the chance to sit down and do a product review.
As i opened up the envelope i received two packs of BIC XTRA-Fun ultra solid, break-resistant lead, easy to erase pencils (one for myself and the other to hand out to a friend). Also 10 coupons to pass out as well.

As i opened up the envelope, upon inspecting i did notice that one of the packs had a broken lead on one of the pencils.
Which made me double think on the break-resistant lead...
But it wont let me doubt the advantages of these awesome looking pencils have to offer!
I mean lets face it, lead on any pencil will always break.

Prior to typing this product review up on my blog, i ended up using the pencils to write a rough draft of my product review to test them bad boys out and so far i already like them alot.
Of course i have found some pros and cons along the way which i will be providing down below along with some suggestions on improvements.
BUT first.....

My daughter Dalilah is 4 years old and loves to draw (what kid doesn't!?)
Not only that but she is learning to write her name and trace things (my they grow up fast)
What perfect opportunity to have her use these amazing BIC XTRA-Fun pencils!?
At first when she seen the BIC-XTRA Fun pencils she thought they were coloring pencils.
When i told her they are just pencils she was still content using them.
I asked her what she thought about the pencils (first impressions) she said: "They are cool."
She really likes the two color barrel on the pencils, plus she likes to erase up her mistakes and the erasers have been long lasting.
I let her get to work using the BIC XTRA-Fun pencils, had no complaints.
She ended up drawing me a very pretty picture (which is hanging up on my fridge).

She starts kindergarten next year and i am very much ecstatic for her to start. I will be putting these bad boys on my "Back to school" shopping list for sures!

Finally the Pros and Cons along with the suggestions you all have been waiting for!

Pros
  • The lead last very long (haven't sharpen them yet & no broken tips yet)
  • Eraser last very long and has yet to break or crumble like most erasers do.
  • Fun colors to keep you interested in writing or doing whatever is needed.

Cons
  • Does erase very clean, you can still she what was written before.
  • Does not write as smoothly as it should, like other pencils do.
  • They are not coloring pencils (awe shucks)

Suggestions

I have a few suggestions that maybe can be taken into consideration for future products

  1. Turn them into coloring pencils! Even tho they are cool looking two toned color barrel pencils, and nice to write with.. how much more awesome would it be to turn them into coloring pencils!? Adding color to our writing would be fantastic!
  2. Write smoothly/smooth lead. Maybe its me or I'm just so use to writing with pens and pencils with a smooth writing feel to it.. a smooth writing pencil (just as smooth as pens write) would be very helpful and more comfortable especially when writing a long paper for class.. Just like smooth writing pens how about smooth writing pencils?
  3. Clean erasing. When i write i tend to make mistakes along the way (don't we all) and I'm having to erase and rewrite. The one thing i dislike is erasing and you can still see what was written basically left over marks as i call them. I think it would be cool if every erase took away every single left over marks in a clean, smooth didn't know you erased there eraser, that would be sweet bro.

I love to write and draw so finding the right pencil/pen is VERY important to me (well a HUGE deal) so I'm glad i had the opportunity to test this awesome product out before buying. At least i know i can always count on BIC coming out with the best products on the market.
I give this product two thumbs up and highly recommend it to every adult, parent, kids and in between to grab a pack of these awesome pencils, must have for all those who are going back to school and or already in school (even for at home use)
Defiantly add these bad boys to your shopping list. I promise you wont regret it.
All in all i really like these pencils regardless of a few cons, but like with every product we try we will always find the good and bad in everything.

That concludes my product review and i hope most of you liked it.
I know i did. :)

I received these products complimentary of bzzagent.
Got it free.

Silk Almondmilk.. {Product Review)

I am a Bzzagent and recieved a free sample to review for testing purposes only.

Show of hands who here has tried Silk Protein+Fiber Almondmilk?
Vanilla or Original?
Neither have I!
But don't worry by the end of this blog I will have and you will know everything you need to know about this lovely tasty Almondmilk.
Now when I first got invited to do this campaign the first thing I thought was "Soy Milk" tho after reading about the product it is NOT "Soy Milk" *Sigh of Relief* don't get me wrong "Soy Milk" is ok but this stuff Silk Protein+Fiber Almondmilk (Vanilla Flavor) is far from that type of taste. Now now I haven't had a chance to drink a cup of it yet, but just a taste of it a few days ago and honestly far from what I expected of the milk. Ok so when I got the campaign it came with a FREE coupon for Any one Silk Protein+Fiber Almondmilk Half Gallon,  I ended up going with the Vanilla Flavor :) and a few $1 off coupons.
What's so special about this Silk Almondmilk Protein+Fiber you ask?
Well I'll tell yeah..
What's really good about this Silk  Protein+Fiber Almondmilk is that its Dairy, Gluten, & Soy-Free..
Yes you read that right!
Dairy, Gluten, & Soy-FREE! Its also packed with "5 grams of Protein and 5 grams of Fiber that may help keep you full."
What are the benefits?

The benefits are :

·50% more calcium than dairy milk2
·Good source of protein
·Excellent source of fiber
·Excellent source of vitamin E
·Absolutely no cholesterol or saturated fat
·Free of dairy, lactose, gluten, soy, casein, egg and MSG
·Enrolled in the Non-GMO Project’s product verification program
·No artificial colors, flavors or funny business

Now that sounds like a done deal for me!

Even tho you can use the Silk Almond milk on pretty much anything,  I ended up having a nice little cold cup of the Silk Vanilla Almondmilk and Mmmmm...Mmmm...Mmmmm.... ;)
The vanilla part taste like a light taste of heaven with a hint of an Almond taste. Neither over powering one another, it has a nice little sweet taste to it but NO worries! Its not that "Owee its too sweet of a taste!" You know what I mean? Maybe tasted something that was not all that sweet like you had expected?  Yup that right there is it! Lol
Next on my list is to try it in my smoothie as a substitute for milk, in my cereal as well as using it to cook (lets see how well that works out.)
All in all I rate this product a ........
10!
Hands down this is a whole new healthier choice to pick and try out (if you haven't already)
I told my husband that we may start getting this to replace milk!
We shall see!
Stay tuned for more Product Reviews
And possibly a giveaway!?
Say what!???
