28 weeks check up

Well today i had my 28 week check up, i went in thinking i was going to have my glucose test but that wont be happening until 30 weeks. Which is a relief lol cause even tho i was ready for it i already wanted it to be over already because i was very thirsty and hungry lol i was telling my doctor i belive he is head down already and she said he probably is so she checked his heartbeat on the lower part of my belly and got the heartbeat right there. She said you maybe right about him head down lol. Then i had to discuss with her what we talked to the hospital about.... so my husband called the hospital not only about the hospital tour but if they offered some type of daycare or anything for parents who dont have anyone to watch their kid(s) and the nurse said if we cant find anyone to watch her and i so happen to go into labor during the day that shes sure a nurse wouldnt mind watching her but if i go into labor at night it would be much harder... so the nurse suggested talking to my doctor about it but said that we can look into having a schedual induction at 39 wks and so that we can have a planned date to have him and find someone who can watch her at that time etc... So i brought it up and explained the situation to my doctor and she said well everything looks good your dilating fine and all that, that they can do it :) she also said if we want to do that, that they will schedual it at 36 weeks. So its something im still thinking about i mean we are looking hard to find someone to watch her while im in labor im just hoping everything will work out. I just want a good birth experiance this time then the first time. The due date is getting closer and closer and theirs still so much to do (in my mind i think so lol) so we will see what happens in the next few weeks. Also i only gained two pounds! Yay my weight is super steady in this pregnancy and i couldnt be more happier :) unlike my first i went over the ideal weight gain they wanted me to be at but evrryone goes through that sometimes we cant help it. Well from here on out i get to be seen every two weeks! My next appointment is at 30 weeks (2 weeks from now) and i will be doing my glucose test... they actually gave me the drink to take home and drink it 30min before my appointment and fast 2 hours before drinking it. This is a first for me taking the drink home! I know in california at my doctors i had to go downstairs to this lab place to drink the glucose drink ive never heard of taking it home with u and waiting until ur next appt to drink it lol. I was suprised when she handed it to me lol. So basically everything went well at my appointment :) we were suppose to do a hospital tour but my husband and daughtet were still asleep by the time i was ready and heading out so im thinking sometime next week since payday is tuesday and we are low on gas so we will have to wait until then to go. But all in all today has been a good day as well as a little hectic among other things lol. I just cant belive i will be 29 weeks monday once i hit 30 weeks o man its final he will be here in no time!
